I was in the frenzy mood of singing these lines and watching(Online) the Chundan Vallangal (snake boats) dissecting the waves of Punnamada Kayal,the last week.
When I was a kid,I had the most previlaged oppurtunity to go and see the Vallam Kali(boat race) at Punnamada which is not far from our ancestral home in Muttom,Alappuzha Dist.
I feel depressed when I dream of the next chance of seeing a boat race at Punnamada with my naked eyes...............
Lucky are those who can see it every year,I envy them.
Extending my warm appreciation to Karichal Chundan,who defeated the other competants and emerged as the winner of the race.
